When an alien culture runs out of their power source, jelly beans, two sons are sent on a quest to find more. On thier journey they find a helpful human boy on planet Earth. The aliens teach the humans how to produce their own electricity from jelly beans. In return the humans supply the aliens with all the jelly beans thier spaceship can carry home. There is a fun interactive, electricity producing, kinetic invention in the middle of the story for children to play with.
